For sale is a Snap On manual impact driver. This vintage tool shows some wear and surface rust. This tool is in good working order.
This tool gets struck by a hammer, to deliver a hard hitting blow that gets transmitted into rotational torque to the 3/8" anvil. This tool is typically used with phillips/screwdriver bit sockets, because it can apply a huge twisting impact, without the risk of stripping the fastener like often happens with electric impacts.
It's also more controllable of an impact than any power tool, and it is easier to feel the threads, using finesse for those extra delicate situations.
