For sale is a Matco Smart Ear. It is essentially an electronic mechanics stethoscope that works through an app on your phone. I have downloaded the app myself, and personally verified the tool works as it should.
The standards 3.5mm style earphones are missing. Every other original accessory is included, just grab an old pair of regular earbuds.
The instruction book is included, but basically you open up the app, plug the stethoscope and headphones into the 3.5mm jack, plug that into your phone, and the app will send the sound thru your earbuds, and display a decibel meter, and chart on the screen.
It let’s you hear the clicking of injectors, grinding drone of a bad bearing, exhaust tick, or any other fine noise you may need to hear to diagnose.
